There’s no two ways about it: Anne Hathaway is a hottie. Her on-screen kiss with Steve Carrell in the upcoming Get Smart (release date: June 20), is smoking hot, too. But apparently that steam might be thanks to Hathaway’s runny, pus-filled eye.
The culprit, it seems, was the actress’ contact lens solution which gave her conjunctivitis — a/k/a pink eye. “I also had a sinus infection at the same time,” she explains. “So I had to go up to Steve, my eye is red, puffy and dripping green — I’m just like snotty and I’m just like … ‘Come here!’”
Pus or no pus, I can’t imagine too many men would’ve turned down an opportunity to snog with Hathaway. Apparently Carrell’s not too bad at locking lips, either, as Hathaway says “I’d do it again in a heartbeat!”
