Britney Spears lost custody of both kids today, by order of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. OK Magazine says that, effective immediately, Kevin Federline has custody of both Sean Preston and Jayden.
It’s still not clear the precise grounds for the court’s order, but it may have to do with new charges against Britney for a hit-and-run accident in August, after which authorities learned that she’s never had a valid California driver’s license. She’s set for arraignment on those charges October 10.
TMZ has a the goods on the illegal driving, along with a copy of the judge’s order (.pdf) online which contains very little information aside from transferring custody of the children to K-Fed “until further order”.
