Britney Spears Hospitalized On Suicide Watch

Britney Spears was removed from her home last night by ambulance attendants who, along with police, responded to a “custodial situation”.

She was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital where she has been hospitalized for an “evaluation” after locking herself and one of her sons in a bathroom instead of returning her boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s custody.

Police report that at the time Spears was under the influence an unknown substance. She reportedly went “completely psycho” in the ambulance and had to be strapped down to the gurney.

Britney and Federline’s son Jayden, age 2, was also taken to the hospital by ambulance, while Sean Preston was transported by car to Federline’s house. Jayden was later released from the hospital and was also driven to his father’s house by one of K-Fed’s bodyguards.

Currently, Britney remains under observation in the hospital and has been designated a special patient which, according to hospital sources, is reserved for patients who have either overdosed or tried to commit suicide.

So. Who had the evening of January 3, 2008 in the pool?

UPDATE: Not surprisingly, K-Fed’s lawyers called for an emergency custody hearing this morning. Britney’s visitation has been suspended. Federline has sole physical and sole legal custody pending future hearings.
