They'll be telling stories about you to their grandchildren years from now. :) That being said, bravo for not succumbing to either the "you're-being-totally-unreasonable" patronizing speech from the nurse or your own urge to take her stethoscope and cram it in her rectal cavity. :) You realize, of course, that you’re probably “That Patient” to these people…the one that they prepare for at the beginning of the day with what your husband refers to as a pre-engagement breifing. Seems that, according to my doctor at any rate, getting a tattoo whilebeing miserably sickisn’t such a good combination. I don’t really remember her exact reasons, but it had something do to with me coughing and sneezing while ink-laden needles are jabbing into my skin.
