Looks like I’m not the only one to wish that Jon Lovitz had bitch-bashed Andy Dick around a bit harder. There’s a TMZ.com reporter out there who’s probably wishing the same thing after he caught up with Dick outside Opera.
“I’m going to break your camera,” threatened Dick right as he was also being denied from the nightclub for being too fugly? Unfortunately, no. Dick wasn’t allowed in due to the club’s dress code which prohibits shorts, as Dick was wearing at the time.
But, as any sorority girl can tell you, a even an infamous Dick can be persuasive when there’s booze to be had. This particular one managed to talk his way into the club but and lasted therein about as long as a frat boy on a Friday night.
Shortly thereafter, as Dick pulled out of the club, he found the TMZ crew member still waiting with camera in hand. Dick — feeling mighty full of himself, apparently, said that he wasn’t going to hit the camera, but he was going to “take the tape.” To which the TMZ cameraman said “You better be able to run fast.”
As anyone familiar with Dick is fully well aware, speed is one of his vices but not his virtues. So the skinny twit had to opt for a surprise attack.
Dick then chased the camera man down the Hollwood Walk of Fame trying to hit both the camera and the camera man — contrary to his previous promise. Then again, what Dick keeps his promises, eh?
In the end, the only thing damaged was the camera man’s tape, proving once again that Dick is as impotent as his acting.
Ah, we just love it when life imitates “art”.

UPDATE: And he just keeps earning that name, too: while performing at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, Dick urinated on the floor and at least one person, groped several patrons and dragged women into the men’s room. Later that night, police issued Dick a citation for urinating in public, again: this time on the sidewalk. (Source).
