Stunning and seriously sweet-natured Heather Locklear admitted herself today to an Arizona facility. A spokesperson for the actress says she’s been battling with anxiety and depression.
Locklear and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora were divorced last year after 11 years of marriage. According to the rumor mill, Sambora had been dating Locklear’s best friend, Denise Richards even prior to the divorce. (Richards claims they did not begin dating until after the divorce was final.)
Earlier this year someone called 911 and claimed the actress was at her home and suicidal. Locklear’s rep says the situation was blown out of proportion and sheriff’s deputies say that when they arrived on the scene no one, including the actress, was in distress or in need of medical help.
Locklear’s daughter, Ava Elizabeth, and boyfriend Jack Wagner are no doubt of great comfort to her right now. We’re wishing Heather all the best, too, and hope she finds peace and contentment soon.
