Two — that’s right, two — of Victoria and David Beckham’s nannies have quit after having their fill of being bossed around. Zara, who’d been with the family for over a year, and Claire, who’s only been under their employ for six months, say they were tired of being treated like “skivvies”.
Although hired to care for the couple’s children, both women say that Victoria and her mother, Jackie, constantly talked down to them and some days they had to work from 6 a.m. to midnight. In addition to their childcare duties, both women were told to clean up after and cook for the family.
Not that cooking for Posh could really take that much effort: five seconds to rinse a lettuce leaf and perhaps a strawberry if she’s really got the munchies.
Oh, and meanwhile the NBC documentary on the couple has been shelved for the time being. It seems that, in addition to now performing her own parental duties, Posh is a bit too busy with the Spice Girls reunion to bother with the project.
